A project to figure out a way to educate millenials on the constitution. Pokemon go is a highly popular game played by countless millenials. I came up with 5 new “constitutional” pokemon. Each new pokemon has a name and power inspired by an amendment along with a description of said amendment. Gotta catch ‘em all.

Linkedin Redesign

I redesigned the linkedin website to make it more aesthetically pleasing and more user friendly. Here is the newsfeed page that you can easily scroll through. There is also a side bar navigation that you can hide.
Here is the profile page. With interactive bubbles, you can click on each of them and a pop up will come up that you can very easily click out of.
Here you see the pop up example for the profile page.
Here is the my network page where you can see what your connections updates, find more connections, alumni and add contacts.
Here  you can search for jobs, companies and save positions that you were interested in and looking at.

the Going Out App

I, along with partners Samantha Sullivan and Leah Hoeferkamp, created this "going out survival" app for our own High Point University. This is to help you navigate around campus safely and find your friends.
The home page shows you where you are and what buildings surround you.
You can choose to see whatever "filters" you want on or off.
goingoutmockup4.jpg
You can search places to drop a pin or get directions. The green circle on the side also shows how busy that place is.
Choose your destination and click route!
It will then route you home.
Then take you on a step by step route to your destination.
The friends page would allow you to scroll through your friends and see their information.
 Add a friend!!
 Your friends profile page.
 Your own profile page.
Here is a regular view of the map page.
Search a destination and you will even be able to view the trolley times!
Here you can see the next three upcoming times.
The emergency page. In case you feel unsafe and are in a situation that you might not be able to be seen on the phone; you can send a ping. Sending a ping will send a ping to all of your contacts and campus security.

I wrote an historical fiction novel about the Salem Witch Trials. If follows the heroine on her journey to uncover the truth about the Trials. Her journey begins when her parents receive a letter with nothing more than a wax seal bearing “DU.” The cover needed to embody the dark and mysterious world she is about to explore.

Taylor Tedford asked me to design her book for her. She interviewed immigrants who now own successful local business in the town of High Point. The whole book is about “weaving,” each of their lives together. We are all more similar in more ways tha

I was commissioned to design this book cover. Weaving is a collection of interviews of immigrants who migrated to America. This book is about their journey and struggles they faced to now be successful business owners. The book is “weaving,” their lives together.

I was inspired by the beautifully woven rugs of one of the business owners. I also played with the idea of going back to “our roots.”

Illustrations and character design has always been a passion of mine. I decided to redesign the original Captain America comics. I tried to in keep with the 1940's style of the comic, but add a modern twist.
